Home Sweet Home
I'm back from my holiday now and I had such a lovely time, I didn't want to leave!
It soo nice to spend some time with my family, and Costa Rica was an amazing place to visit, I definitely want to go back there and explore by myself some day...
Although it was the wet season, we didn't get drenched more than a couple of times (but when it rained, it rained!) so I suppose we must have been quite lucky with the weather, and the fact that it was the rainy season meant that we saw heaps of wildlife as the forest is so lush and green around that time of year. I took far too many pictures (I had a new memory card and was intent on filling it!) but needless to say half of them were a bit rubbish, so I've just picked a few nice ones for the blog :)

Lo Siento!
Sorry for the lack of posts, I'm in Costa Rica at the moment enjoying the sunshine and the jungle and the Pina Coladas,
Hasta luego chicas!

Knit one, pearl one...
Lovely, cosy looking cardi from Topshop's 'Highland Fling' collection. I like the dusky pink colour. It also reminds me of The Edge of Love quite a lot, so at the moment, I'm thinking about it with knee socks, a tea dress and my navy wellies...!

Noa Noa
It's raining outside and I've just been on another fantasy shopping trip, ie. adding lots of pretty clothes to my virtual basket and pretending that I could actually afford to click 'proceed to checkout' afterwards...ahhh...Anyway, I thought the photographs from Noa Noa's Autumn/Winter 09 Lookbook were just lovely and needed sharing. (Oh, and if you needed any inspiration for layering pieces this winter, then look no further!)

Liberty Love ♥
Ah-ha! I have confirmation that the dress I got from the jumble sale and the floral skirt I found in the charity shop last week are indeed Liberty!
I was wearing the dress (the one in the prettiest, brightest print, which I have now altered) while out shopping in York, when I was stopped and asked by a lady in her 50's where I had bought it. When I told her, she laughed and said I had picked up a bargin because she had bought the same fabric when she had worked at the Liberty store when it was open in York.
Imagine what I could find if I actually knew what I was looking for, rather than just raking up random bits that catch my eye...

I'm sorry if I sound a bit smug, but I just couldn't believe my luck, especially when I came across this belted shirt dress by Theory for £215...in the exact same fabric!
(I took the polaroid out of a taxi window last summer)
