Liberty Love ♥

Ah-ha! I have confirmation that the dress I got from the jumble sale and the floral skirt I found in the charity shop last week are indeed Liberty!

I was wearing the dress (the one in the prettiest, brightest print, which I have now altered) while out shopping in York, when I was stopped and asked by a lady in her 50's where I had bought it. When I told her, she laughed and said I had picked up a bargin because she had bought the same fabric when she had worked at the Liberty store when it was open in York.
Imagine what I could find if I actually knew what I was looking for, rather than just raking up random bits that catch my eye...

I'm sorry if I sound a bit smug, but I just couldn't believe my luck, especially when I came across this belted shirt dress by Theory for £215...in the exact same fabric!

Pretty Things ♥

Another fairly pointless post...just some lovely floral fabric I found in the charity shop, the ruffley neck detail on one of my jumble sale dresses and some perfect little brogues I picked up in New Look (of all places!) for £15, success!

I've being feeling a little uninspired recently and wondered if there's much point in keeping this blog if I can't even be bothered to post regularly, but I have been busy altering some things for my future Etsy store and I took pictures the other day too, so I've got a few ideas for some more interesting posts now.

Dresses

I found these two beauties at the last jumble sale I went to, I just love both of the prints, although I'm going to have to shorten them a little bit! Apart from that, they're perfect, just the kind of thing I dreamt of finding...(I got the bags from the sale too!)

I'm hoping to find some little treasures tomorrow, after I've finished my first year exams, I'll take some pictures of my most favourite finds.

Lovely jubbly jumble! ♥

There's something oddly thrilling about rummaging around in a big, musty pile of old clothes and junk in the middle of a dusty little village hall, only to emerge half an hour later minus a dozen 20p pieces and with an armful of treasures :)

I'll upload some pictures of my most recent finds soon and in the meantime, keep my fingers crossed for next Saturday's sale!
