Nudes & Neutrals

Facehunter-Neutrals

I'm feeling so fed up with winter, even though the thermometer is stuck stubbornly around 5'C, i can't wait to break into my spring wardrobe and start pairing dresses with knee socks and pumps instead of boots and thick, wolly tights!
These girls in their lovely creamy whites and peaches are making me long for warmer climes when i can start wearing lighter colours, they always look nicer against a blue sky...

Andrew's World

I was familiar with a couple of Andrew Wyeth's works, but it wasn't until after I had read about his death the other week, that I realised how much I loved his paintings.
The tones and the light bind together perfectly, and there is a sense of honesty and melancholy which makes his paintings so enthralling.
It must be an amazing thing to able to create something so beautiful that it is cherished and appreciated by generations after your death.

The Beginning

It must be said, I am not the most driven or motivated of students and because of this, I have a tendancy to leave my university work until the very last minute which means I often feel terribly bogged down, with mountains and mountains of the stuff to do. No end in sight.

I suppose this blog is intended to be a little escape from that side of life, something that I can enjoy and not have to worry about. That said, I've never been particulaly good at sticking things like this out, so I'll just have to cross my fingers and see how long it lasts...I'll try not to witter on too much, but I can't promise anything!
